Energy and Environmental Economist
I earned PhD degree in Economics and MSc in Applied Mathematics and Computer Science from Eastern Mediterranean University, Cyprus after completing a Bachelor degree studies at the University of Ilorin in Nigeria. Before joining CREDS-Centre for Research on digitalization and Sustainability, Inland Norway University of Applied Science as an Associate Professor of Sustainability, I’ve worked as Assistant Professor and taught undergraduate and postgraduate programs in the Department of Economics, University of Vaasa in Finland and Istanbul Gelisim University in Turkey.
As a Research Fellow at Adnan Kassar School of Business, Lebanese American University in Lebanon and Assistant Professor (On leave) at Nisantasi University , I previosuly held Senior Research Fellowship positions at South Ural State University (Russia) in the Department of Economics and Finance and the University of Johannesburg (Faculty of Engineering and the Built Environment) in South Africa.
Within my areas of interests that include Sustainability, Energy, and Environmental Economics, I’ve authored about 200 scientific studies in top tier international peer-reviewed journals. My research activities have won a number of recognitions such as the Stanford University's list of Top 2 per cent Global Scientists (since 2020) and Istanbul Gelisim University top research scholar (since 2019).
